God's Plan of Salvation
Jesus said
Matthew 28:18-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age.”

“What a glorious thing it would be if millions of us
would avail ourselves of the greatest privilege
and the greatest power this side of heaven,
the privilege and power of prayer!”
At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Suppose you owed $100,000.00 on your house, which is a fee you cannot possibly pay. You saved up from working hard and go down to the bank to pay $1,000.00 and you find someone came before you and paid off all that you owe. Are you going to argue with the bank and beg to pay the rest of the bill that has already been paid? No of course not! Your going to enjoy the benefits of what someone else has done as a gift. That is grace. But then there are people who say, yes it was paid off, but now I’m going to pay it off too. The Bank would never accept this, you can keep going back insisting you want to pay, but they will think your insane for ignoring what has already transpired.
It Is By Grace That You Have Been Saved
Ephesians 2:1-22 (NIV)
Ephesians 2:1-10
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:11-13
Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (that done in the body by the hands of men)—remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:14-18
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
Ephesians 2:19-22
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

I remember him saying that at his age, he does not argue with anyone anymore. He talked about not ever arguing with the people that want to challenge his thoughts, and his reason for doing so was that it was a waste of time. He did say that when someone wanted him to get into an arguement, and pushed him a bit to much, he simply had the man arrested and taken away. I laughed inside and felt even better about this biblical scholar, who had a sense of humor. Perhaps you can learn from one who loves God, but is far from a biblical scholar, but be careful, for there are many who pontificate without biblical scholarship. It is my hope that your life will be better off because of reading the thoughts and stories at this website. It has been my intention and hope that what is here will glorify God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
"There is not one word of the bible that is not inspired by God. He also said, "There is not one letter of one word of the bible that is not inspired by God. I immediately thought that this must be wrong, since there are many different translations of the bible, but then upon further thought, I began to believe that this was something that God could do, so I decided to accept the scholars thoughts, because if God created All, then surely he could influence the writers of the bible and those who translated it into many other languages. His talk lasted one hour, and dealt with the old and the new testament, and why both are important and necessary, because they compliment each other. One point that I remember is that the new testament fulfills the things in the old testament, but seeing that I am not a biblical scholar, I shall not say much more on what the man said, except to say that I was impressed by this scholar.

Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
